We came together in the mid-2020s, when converging crises made it clear that the 2030s would be decisive. Here is what we are embarking on:
What. The 2030s Collective is a shared platform and experimental studio for shaping alternative futures. It is a container where inquiry, imagination, and action can coexist, where people, practices, and initiatives rooted in regeneration and renewal are able to meet, learn, and amplify each other.
Why. Because mainstream institutions have neither the courage nor the horizon required by this moment. Their extractive logic is exhausted. We sensed the need for a different container, one that cultivates collaboration instead of competition, and makes space for life beyond despair.
When. We are launching the Collective in the mid-2020s, a time when the on-going crises sharpened, and the illusions of business-as-usual fell away. We knew that this decade would be decisive, and that responsibility could not be postponed.
How. Not as a company, not as a hierarchy, but as a collective. We are bound together by trust, reflection, and mutual support. Members exchange insights, discover collaborators, and sometimes co-create new ventures. What unites us is intention, not structure.
Where. We are rooted in Sweden, yet our work spans across geographies, online and in person, in forests and in forums, within institutions and at their edges. We gravitate toward liminal spaces: thresholds where the overlooked becomes visible, and new possibilities can take root.
Who. We are independent practitioners, facilitators, strategists, educators, creators, drawn together by shared values and complementary pursuits. But we open the collective for those who feel the need for guidance and community as they embark on an uncertain path away from the status-quo.
